Coffee decreases proneness of having diabetes type 2 by affecting the level of protein by neutralizing the sexual hormone activity.
Several earlier research have shown the similar result that people who drink a lot of coffee are less likely to have diabetes type 2 - the most common form of diabetes, which is related with caloric diet and lack of movement.
In type 2 diabetes body’s tissue become less sensitive to insulin, hormone which control metabolism of glucose. As a result, cells do not efficiently absorb the sugar, keeping its increased level in blood.
Scientists suspects that coffee might increases organism's sensitivity to insulin, thus reducing the level of glucose. However, the exact mechanism, which is responsible for this mechanism is still unknown.
